Fall Swim Lesson Information
All programs are held at Loras College – San Jose Pool.
Testing & Registration –
Swimmers new to the program MUST be tested for placement.
Tuesday, September 7 & Wednesday, September 8, 4 – 6 p.m. (registration is first come – first serve)
Saturday lessons
Lessons begin on Sept. 11 and run for 5 Saturdays
Times: 8:40 / 9:30 / 10:20 / 11:10 (45 minute lessons)
Cost: $50 for 1st child / $45 for each additional
Weekday lessons
Lessons begin the week of Sept. 13
Days: Twice a week for four weeks - Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 4:15 – 4:55 p.m.
Cost: $60 for 1st child / $55 for each additional

| Newman Catholic School Systems in Mason City is host to one of the few certified marathon events in Iowa. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 so there is plenty of time to train and get in shape! Now in its 12th year, the annual race, with a reputation for its beautiful flat course that trails throughout the Lime Creek Nature Center, along the Winnebago River, beside the cornfields of North Iowa, throughout the historic downtown and numerous Mason City neighborhoods, has grown to include both full and half marathon races. Certified by the United States Track and Field in 2002, this race has been attracting runners hoping to get that last chance to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon.
